With the changes in Hollywood as well as how Adult Content was now being distributed, moving away from theatrical releases, paid adult sites, and mass DVD distribution, actors and actresses found themselves making much less than they had in the past. Streaming changed the business and there were fewer opportunities to cash in on the anticipation of what a film might make at the box office. To combat this, SAG met with their members with an idea for a revenue stream that could be bigger than anything they'd done in the past.
