Square Enix is busy at this year's E3. Two big games, Final Fantasy VII Remake and Avengers each got trailers and release dates. These franchises are exciting to many gamers, so it is great to see how these two major titles will play.
Speaking of Final Fantasy, Square Enix is also launching a remaster of Crystal Chronicles, which will include online multiplayer. Final Fantasy VIII is also getting a remaster later this year.
The Avengers game is one of the most anticipated and will be releasing in May 2020 and features a familiar cast of characters from the MCU, but with a slightly different look. It doesn't seem like this game follows the movies, but it should be an enjoyable single player and co-op experience.
Square Enix also announced the addition of a ton of Final Fantasy soundtracks to music streaming services. There are more releases planned, but it's always nice to see official soundtracks available, rather than grainy bootlegs off of YouTube.
Another announced game is Outriders, a 3-player co-op action game slated for release in summer 2020. It seems like 2020 will be a big year for co-op at Square Enix!
The final announcement from the studio is Oninaki, a JRPG set for August of this year.
