Halloween Horror Nights

Hello all, server owner Gummi here with yet another update post for the Universal Horror Nights Discord! We have made some notable changes this time to the channel layout and the way the roles are displayed!

TL;DR - The "Horror Nights" category is now gone, this is because Halloween Horror Nights is over for now as Universal Resorts focus more on the Holidays! HHN channels still exist, their just right by the normal chatting channels but not in the way at all! Universal & HHN update channels are also side-by-side now as well! / The Moderation team now all display right by each-other in a "Staff" role, we also plan on making some leveled roles that come with their own perks! / The info-and-rules channel has also had some fix-ups!

• The previously made "Horror Nights" category that was dedicated to the event has been dismantled for the season as Universal Resorts focus more on the Holidays. The HHN chats are still on the server just moved around. HHN-Updates and Universal-Updates are side-by-side with the main HHN-Chat below it. The HHN-Socials page is right below the What-Is-HHN channel in the Info category.
• The Moderators and Admins of the server previously were split but now display all together in a uniform Staff role!
• We're contemplating putting in some leveled roles via the MEE6 bot to hopefully increase activity and to earn small perks in the server! Nitro Boosting will immediately give you access to all the perks!
• The info-and-rules channel previously had some grammatical and technical errors that have now been fixed! (technical in the way that the images didn't load)

Hey all, server owner Gummi here! We here at UHN Discord have broke over 50 members, that's really amazing!!! We're always working on the server and making sure it's the best it can be! Here's the latest rounds of what we've been doing!

TL;DR - Updates the server icon twice! The first time was for Friday The 13th, we made it Freddy vs. Jason-related since that's been a maze/house at both Hollywood AND Orlando! Now it's Krampus which has been a maze/house at Orlando! / Halloween Horror Nights might be over but we're getting into the holly jolly mood by still keeping up with what the Universal Resorts are up to! / We're planning on adding some emotes from the original mazes/houses Holidayz In Hell & PsychoScarepy: Home for the Holidays, got some new members on the moderator team!

• We have updated the server icon twice! The first time was to celebrate Friday The 13th by having our favorite hockey-masked slasher on the server icon, but not alone no-no! It was the iconic Freddy glove holding the Jason hockey mask! Friday may have not gotten a proper maze/house at Halloween Horror Nights yet, but Freddy and Jason have fought each other coast to coast from Hollywood to Orlando! Now the server icon is Krampus to celebrate the holidays!

• Halloween Horror Nights might be over but we're still looking at what Universal Resorts themselves have been up to! Posting Park Hours, keeping track of merch rotations, and so much more!

• We plan on adding a whole new round of emotes from the original maze/houses Holidayz In Hell & PyschoScarepy: Home for the Holidays!

• We got a few new members of the moderation team as the server grows and grows! We're so excited to see where the server is going with the great turn-out!

Hello, Owner Gummi here! Sorry for the break that was taken from the 3 year anniversary post about adjustments and news! Life has been a little crazy! But I am back to give more adjustments and updates with the server!

TL;DR - Halloween Horror Nights (or as it was called this year "HHNLite") is now over unfortunately, however, we are still giving updates of the Universal parks news and updates for the Holiday season and even adding emotes from the more festive mazes/houses! / As mentioned previously we are still giving Universal parks news and updates so this will be with things like coaster updates, merch/shopping rotations, dining changes, all that! / We are going to be changing the server icon and invite splash to some thing a bit more festive in the near future! / We have added emotes from the trio of HHNLite mazes/houses this year! Beetlejuice, Bride of Frankenstein, and Tooth Fairy! Krampus has also been added as an emote for the Holiday season!

• Halloween Horror Nights 2020 (alternatively titled HHNLite) has now come and gone and the Holidays are now in full swing! We here at Universal Horror Nights will miss the event until next year! However, that does not mean we plan on letting out server got stagnant until then. We still plan on, of course, giving updates and substantial news in the way of the Universal parks themselves. From merch rotations for the Holidays, discounts, info on rides, any notable changes to the dining/shopping districts, all that!
• We plan on changing up the server icon from the Stranger Things upside-down GIF to some thing more festive as well as the server invite splash will change as well in the near future.
• We have added a few new emotes over the past week or so. The trio of daytime houses/mazes of Bride of Frankenstein, Tooth Fairy, and Beetlejuice. We also added a Krampus emote for the upcoming Holiday season!

That just about does it does this round of updates and adjustments. Once again, sorry for getting this out a little later than usual! Hope you had a happy Autumn season and will have a happy and very merry Holiday season coming up!
