THE PLOT:

Doctor and Master. Ten and Harry, to be precise. It had started when they’d visited a planet in the aftermath of a war. His partner had seen the destruction and the pain. He’d seen the helpers and the hope.

Nothing new.

But that time, they’d talked about it. His partner thought that humans were, by nature, destructive and violent. But he was wrong. Humanity was a social species, and they had survived and thrived because they cooperated, because they helped each other. His partner was wrong. But…how to prove it? How to show him the real human nature, the love and kindness that was always there, even in the biggest tragedies? A bet. He’d never been able to resist it.
