What’s been going on at TCG World? What’s the word on Alpha? Let’s take a look at what happened in the month of April!

Highlights of the Month: 🌎Waking Up to the Metaverse On April 5th TCG World was featured on Sunrise, Australia’s top morning program. The segment was about Australians buying virtual land in the metaverse. Lisa, a TCG Real Estate Agent, was interviewed with her family. They told all of Australia about TCG World and their plans within the Metaverse!

🌎 Alpha Status Updates The TCG World’s Alpha began back on March 31st with a limited amount of core team members having access to the game. It has since expanded to the whole management team. The studio is making improvements to the game and is continuing to optimize it for a better player experience.

We will continue to roll out the TCG World Alpha over the next few months leading up to the start of Beta Testing. Here’s a reminder of the order for Alpha access:

🌎TCG World Announces Verified Guilds On April 2nd, TCG World announced that there will be verified guilds within TCG World. TCG World aim is to create a welcoming environment for all players and guilds in the the metaverse and to allow each guild to operate independently. Verified Guilds will be held to a high standard, with their leadership attending a course on how to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

🌎Huge Deal for Virtual Land in TCG World! One of the largest deals ever for Virtual Land was made in the month of April! On April 16th it was announced that MetaVUrse LLC purchased $4,600,000 worth of virtual land in TCG World. The deal was for 8901 total plots.

MetaVUrse LLC becomes the first company to connect an entire plot of virtual land inside the metaverse to a NFT. They have formed a guild called the Dragon Guild. Players who purchase their NFT will also gain access to a virtual plot of land in TCG World.

The NFT collection will be designed by artist Matt Cossin, who has worked for Disney amongst a lot of large projects and companies. The art itself will feature female dragon riders!

🌎TCG2 Presale Uniswap Launch TCG World’s coin TCG2 is launching on Uniswap. Buyers were able to get a 5% discount on the Ethereum version of the token vs. the BSC price. 100% of the funds raised for the presale will be added to the Liquidity Pool for the upcoming Uniswap launch.

🌎New Partnership with DRIVENecosystem You may remember DRIVENecosystem as the team who completed our initial audit of the TCG Coin 2.0 contract, and joined us live on our AMA during the migration back in August. If you did not get a chance to tune in live, all audit information can be found on their website.

One of the goals of DRIVENecosystem as an audit team is to introduce fundamental analysis in combination with smart contract debugging. They aim to cover all token security issues so that investors are fully aware of the security level of projects. DRIVENecosystem will become a resident in Altcoin City found in the East Region of TCG World, a place for promising and emerging crypto communities. DRIVENecosystem aims to educate crypto investors and will be supporting TCG World with ongoing audits for crypto projects wanting to join us on our metaverse journey and will act as the gatekeepers for Altcoin City.

🌎 More Quick TCG World Tidbits: On April 3rd the Dragon NFTs hit 500 ETH Volume Traded. As of this recap, they’re approaching 700 ETH Volume Traded. On April 18th a new collaboration with @Teoartz was announced to display a collection of TCG Cool Monkeys in the Metaverse Gallery. On April 25th a new collaboration with @Zaiyanarts was announced to display a collection of TCG Angry Foxes in the Metaverse Gallery.

March flew by! Quarter one is officially done. What’s going on with TCG World? What’s the word on Alpha? Let’s take a look at what happened in the month of March!

🌎 Alpha has Started!

The moment everyone has been waiting for has arrived! Alpha has started! All these months of development and preparation have lead to this, and we’re so happy and proud to be able to show you what we’ve been working on.

Alpha is a very early testing phase and not everything will be included in the game play. As time goes on, more will be added for players to test and play with. Here’s what you can expect to see during Alpha:

You’ll be able to log into any of your plots. You’ll be able to test out the in-game builder. The full world will be generated and able to be explored. You’ll be able to visit some select Partner plot locations and their buildings. You can drive the roads with a variety of tester vehicles.

Later on in Alpha, we expect you may be able to explore some of the outskirts of the map, such as the Volcano, Ski Resort area, Ruins, Beach, etc. Also later on in Alpha, we hope to begin testing of the teleportation system. We are hoping to have creature spawning in Alpha, and eventually testing of the creature capture mechanics.

🌎 Updated Graphics! TCG World got a lot more lifelike this month. A surprise video was shown on a Live Update Stream that showcased land, water and nature, as well as day, night and some weather effects. It even had birds, bugs and butterflies flying around! The video is stunning and it shows how hard the TCG Gaming studio has been working behind the scenes.

Another video also shows the updated graphics, how easy it is to build a house, a dragon flying around, and a monster truck rolling around. Well worth a watch!

🌎 TCG World was on CBS News! On March 23rd, CBS Reports released a documentary titled “Welcome To The Metaverse” which featured TCG World prominently among some of the other top Metaverse projects that exist today. The interview had Alex Nase showing CryptoMom the home they built for her in the Metaverse, complete with a Helipad and a Yacht. You can watch the documentary below!

🌎TCG World Attended Multiple Conventions TCG World has been attending several gaming and crypto-themed conventions in the past few months. This month Eric Chan was at the Game Developer’s Convention (GDC) in San Francisco, and he closed out the month at NFT LA. Eric came away with a lot of contacts and met many potential partners! In April we will be at several more conventions and events. April 1–3rd Eric and Alex will be at NFT Miami. April 9–10th Eric will attend San Diego NFT Convention (SDNC) April 12th Ben and David will attend Paris NFT Day April 13–14th Ben and David will be the Paris Blockchain Week Summit

🌎 Important: Weekly Live Updates Moving to YouTube TCG World will be running our live update streams on YouTube from now on. For the first hour or so Alex will go over all the project updates and usually has a surprise for the viewers every week! The after party AMA will be held afterwards over on TCG World’s Telegram, where you can ask Alex any questions and get an answer right then and there. These weekly update streams happen every Friday starting at 1pm PST. Make sure you’re getting notifications from YouTube when we go live! Subscribe and hit that notification bell to be alerted.

🌎 TCG World Gaining Traction From individual plot ownership and coin holders, to our followers on Twitter and Facebook, TCG World is getting noticed and gaining followers across the board. In March we reached over 7,000 individual land owners, with an average of around 3.5 plots per owner. We also reached over 15,000 coin holders for the first time! Everyone is stocking up in preparation for the metaverse!

What’s been going on at TCG World? What’s this buzz about dragons? Let’s take a look at what happened in the month of February!

Highlights of the Month:

🌎 Dragon NFT Launch On February 7th we launched the TCG Dragon Cave Club, a collection of 10,000 NFTs each with unique properties and traits created in collaboration with FramdNFT & artist Vali Lancea. The launch was a complete success! The dragons were sold out a week later — and on Feb 16th everyone got to see their dragons for the very first time!

🌎 $50,000 Dragon Bounty Within the Dragon Cave collection was one mythic dragon which TCG World had placed a $50,000 bounty on. The dragon was found, and the offer was made to buy it… But the owner knew he had something special and decided to keep the Dragon for himself! Owning this NFT will grant him a 1/1 rideable mythic dragon within TCG World!

🌎 Huge Map Upgrade On February 11th TCG World’s plans for the metaverse got a lot clearer. A new map was uploaded to the website, and let’s just say it was a vast improvement! The community was delighted to discover never before seen areas on the map, including Islands, a Volcano, a huge Ski Resort, Ancient Ruins, and more! 🌎 Earn an Education in the Metaverse! On February 14th, TCG World announced an exciting new partnership with SydTek DAO. SydTek DAO will work with TCG World to build out the TCG World University Campus to bring in leading scholars and practitioners from around the world to educate our future. 🌎 Plots are Selling Fast: Fuelled by the new map and the excitement surrounding the dragons, February was another month of record plot sales! Prime locations near the main attractions are in high demand. In AMA #26, Alex showed everyone just how easy it will be to build a home within TCG World! It’ll be as easy as snapping each piece in place! Click here for the Building AMA. On February 25th the presale for Gold Farm Plots sold out! Congrats to everyone who got a Gold Farm in the presale! They’re now available for their normal price of 7 BNB. If you want to invest in virtual land, plots can be purchased either directly on the map or in the marketplace. Should you need help purchasing plots or learning what the different regions have to offer; you may reach out on our main Telegram channel. A real estate agent is always available to assist.

🌎 Heads Up! Pre-Sale Prices for Gold Plots Increasing Soon: In the last week of February it was announced that the presale price for Gold Plots will soon go up from 1 BNB to 2 BNB. No date has been decided for this change at this time. Presales for each plot type will end when it reaches 90% sold. The last 10% of each plot type will be sold at their normal price of 7 BNB by TCG World. There is no change to Silver Plots. Silver size (16x16) plots of all types will still be available for 1 BNB in the presale.

📣Giveaways Galore! In the month of February we ran multiple giveaways — giving away over 15 plots and 10 Dragon NFTs. We also teamed up with multiple partners who gave away a bunch of different prizes including a PSA 9 Charizard, TCG World Plots, Whitelist Spots and multiple partner NFTs!
