On April 14th, 1953, a strange meteor fell from space and landed on the planet's surface. Over the next decade and a half, many more of these meteors entered Earth's atmosphere, scattering themselves across the globe. By 1968, there were six of these meteors on the planet's surface. The world was never the same. People didn't know it at the time, but the meteors changed the world in ways never before imagined. They gave off strange energy, which affected people and the world around them, allowing them to interact with their surroundings in ways never before seen.
By the year 1998, The Arcane Academy was built. The school was located in Lightview, Oregon and run by Juliet Harrison, one of the head scientists studying the meteors. As Headmistress of the academy, Juliet was able to teach countless children how to control these new abilities and become part of a new future for the world.
