So, you're dead. Un/Fortunately for you, however, this isn't the end of your journey yet. You wake up in a blank, white room as four gods appear, they request your aid. Their world is in trouble. You soon learn that the demon king has invaded their world, and the world is slowly dying, as the corruption wrought by the demon king spreads, causing havoc and mayhem through the lands. They give you a choice, to retire to the afterlife of which you were supposed to be sent to, or into the world of Zenara, to fight the demon king. You accept.
A portal opens up and you enter it, as a bright light floods your vision. You wake up, lying by a lake, of which you sense a great magical aura, with only your clothes, and nothing else. You look around, and unlike what the gods said, it seems quite peaceful here, and in fact, relaxing. --You soon find yourself in a town, filled not just with humans, but with other beings of different shapes and sizes. Here, you start your journey.
