Hey guys, just wanted to let you all know about some exciting changes that are planned for Nameless Debates over the next six to nine months! As you may or may not know, the 14th of May will mark seven years for our community, and we intend on making the next seven just as memorable as the first.
A few things that are in the works:
A renovation of the server which will incorporate many of the updates discord has made to their platform over the years since we first created our humble community, including a new role system, a new landing page
A PURGE of all inactive members, reducing the server size by more than half overnight - this is to remove bloat in the member count and to manage the expectations of newcomers to the space.
A new and improved Youtube where we will be uploading only the best of the best from the old NDR channel, plus new recording protocols to kick our content creation back off again.
Updates to the bot to make it more reliable and responsive, and to expand its functionality, including a resurrection of our Nameless Radio functionality so that there's always something to listen to, no matter what time it is.
A resurrection of the Nameless Newsletter, which will become an annual edition after lying dormant for many moons!
A new Nameless Debate Tournament, similarly an annual event from now on, with the first one happening at the end of 2026.
And finally, we have some new recruitment initiatives planned which will involve the tournament, 1nsinq's new debate coaching class, as well as some sneaky crusading. After all, everyone loves a little bit of "convert or die" drama, and the best converts are won by the sword.
