NSFW stands for Not Safe For Work. This is content that would not be seen as appropriate in a work environment.
While some servers may offer some well marked NSFW channels in their server, others choose to focus on the content. Here is how we figure out if a server is focused on NSFW content.

While some servers promote 18+/Mature communities, this does not mean the content is NSFW. Some servers just enjoy having only adults around in their community. As long as the server does not focus on the NSFW topics above it will not be considered NSFW.

There is a very important difference when choosing how to report servers and content.
Content that is against Discord's Official Terms of Services (see link above) must be reported to Discord App's Trust and Safety Team. Reporting this content to us does not help as we do not have authority to police Discord App's platform.
Content found on Discord Me such as server banners, icons, or other content can be reported by clicking the triple dot icon ( ) on servers after logging into Discord Me.
