It’s time. It’s time to explore what exactly happened in ChillZone throughout 2025! This year was such a busy year for us all, members and teams combined. The server started out with 571k members and now sits at a total of 705k. Due to hitting 700k, it gave us all the chance to participate in huge giveaways, with prizes ranging from avatar decorations, to a month of Nitro, to even a year of Nitro! A huge congratulations to those who won prizes, and thank you to our giveaway sponsors.
ChillZone hosted over 50 events this year, which was even more than last year! The Events Team truly outdid themselves this year, and really showed us all a good, fun time. Some of the most popular events this year were ChillZone’s Got Talent, Valentine’s Day Cards, Sky Photography, Best Profile, Kindness Cascade, and Best Song Lyrics. We also had writing, art, and quote competitions, including Best Movie Quotes and Best Quotes from members. Having said this, the quotes channel also got an upgrade. Users who have pic perms and are level 15+, are now allowed to post quotes, as long as they follow ChillZone rules.
Speaking of updates, we finally updated the ChillZone colour options. After years of people wanting a brown colour role, we now have two (fawn and espresso), alongside a collection of other colours such as apricot, and rosewood! They also revamped the UI system of the channel, so that it’s now a clean dropdown menu. You can choose colours from three categories: Vivid, Muted, and Moody. A huge congratulations to those who helped make the colour update a success, especially our Feedback Team, as they collected everyone’s suggestions through surveys. Alongside this, gradient colour roles were also introduced to our Tier 3 server subscribers (Superstar Supporters), and our Staff Team (Bot Commanders to Admin). There are 6 to choose from: dawn, dusk, heartset, ember, sunblush, and tide.
For Halloween and Christmas, there were limited edition gradients that everyone could access if they completed the requirements. The Halloween role was an orange gradient, whereas the Christmas ones came in the form of two choices: a blue and white colour, or a red and green colour. We also had limited-time role icons for Halloween and Christmas, with requirements to obtain them. Channel Mods, Voice Mods, and Staff members also received limited edition role icons for Halloween and Christmas. For Halloween, cats were given, and for Christmas, there were stockings and snowman icons.
ChillZone also had a massive change to the way members of the server got image permissions. Members now must be level 10 in voice chat or text chat, or alternatively, buy the Tier 3 points package, which gives 100k points, as well as image permissions. The catch though, that user mustn’t have a log of previous violations to the ChillZone's NSFW guidelines. You can read about this in further detail in our #streaming channel.
All our teams (Media, Events, Bump, Voice Mod, Channel Mod, and Staff Team) also expanded a lot this year! We are always looking to recruit new members though, so if you’re interested, now is a great time to join. This year has been such a successful year for ChillZone, and I want to thank everyone for their contributions in helping ChillZone grow, especially our Server Owner and our Chief Admin. Without you two, this server wouldn’t exist as it does today! The year isn’t over yet, as we still have two events to go, including our annual Grammys event.
