Hundreds of years ago, during the Meireki Era, Japan faced destruction at the hands of the Daikaiju known as âThe Ashen Titanâ, a beast so powerful its rampage was recorded as a divine disaster. Though humanity believed it was destroyed, its body lay dormant beneath the Earth.
In the year 2154, advanced kaiju-detection satellites picked up seismic anomalies. The Ashen Titan has awakenedâand with it, it used its primal kaiju energy to revive Kaiju No. 9, reshaping him into a new, more evolved form: âKaiju No. 9: Rebirth.â
The Defense Force is stronger than ever, with next-gen weapons and enhanced suits, but the kaiju threat has grown too. Kaiju biology has adaptedâspawning new hybrids, colossal terrors, and mutations stronger than ever. Humanity faces extinction again, unless new heroes rise.
