Established in late 2021 to combat the lockdowns, the MELBOURNE BATS Discord sever was set up to keep like-minded individuals connected.
The server remained open and evolved itself to offers not only a place for banter, but weekly movie streams which members get to vote on and chill out together and watch (in both quiet stream and loud stream formats), updates and notifications on real-world alternative events around Melbourne (and Australia at large), an alternative arts and craft corner, as well as other channels for discourse on alternative literature, movies, music & gaming.
We are accepting of all people and everyone is welcome. It doesn't matter if you identify as goth, vampire, witch, gamer, alternative, metal or another alt scene - or no scene at all.
All that matters is that you enjoy meeting new people and sharing amazing experiences.
