I can still vividly remember the first time I watched a movie in a cinema. It was an overwhelmingly grand experience. The surround sound system made me feel as though audio was coming from tidnungevery direction, while the massive screen completely filled my field of vision. The darkness had a way of putting the outside world on pause, and there was something magical about sitting alongside a hundred strangers—all laughing, crying, or holding their breath in fear together.Streaming movies online offers something entirely different; it provides convenience, flexibility, and absolute control. We can pause, rewind, choose our own time, and watch from any corner of the world as long as we have an internet connection. Yet, what is lost in the process is that shared connection—the communal experience that a movie theater provides, which nothing else can truly replace.
