Welcome to Force of Will, an original fantasy roleplay server inspired by the Monty Oum era of RWBY! If you're able to write semi-literate or above, come stay awhile as we train to become Freeblades! Force of Will takes place on a mysterious extradimensional plane of reality known as the Beyond, where space and the very laws of physics are warped and people can harness the spiritual power of Will. Those born with Will inside them are known as the Imbued, and they begin to manifest unique powers at a young age. However, this is as much a curse as it is a blessing; a dangerous force called Chaos hunts down the Will inside them from the moment they open their eyes. On the continents of Terrace and Solace exist special Academies to house, protect, and train these Imbued to defend themselves later in life. Those who are especially determined to drive back the never-ending forces of Chaos may stay at the Academy and hone their skills even further- becoming mighty mercenaries called Freeblad

Unlike most stories ours starts 46 years ago with the fall. When Cinder attacked it was with a force unseen an army of unholy hell spawn now known as the original hybrids. By an unknown means to the public Salem had found a way to combine human and Grimm biology. All that the public currently knows is that it requires the subject to be young 0-10 and recently deceased. In reality there are a few acceptions to this rule it's just easier when they are young. Using these new troops alongside the hacked atlas droids, Grimm and white fang Vale fell in a matter of hours. Of course there were those who tried to fight back team RWBY making their way to mistral only to find it under siege from hybrids and the same when they got to atlas. This, however, is YOUR story. In RTC, you will find no such canon characters, instead seeing a simplistic original lore and worldbuilding waiting to be further expanded upon by the players. As the owner, I hope to deliver a different roleplay experience than other servers - that is, I want to entice this world to be filled with stories of characters made by my members, and want to provide the tools to do so. It may still be RWBY at heart, but it is the collaborative effort of everyone involved that will make it something truly special. The admin team here will do everything we can to provide a meaningful story and involve the members in the process of conveying it. As such, we have many plot centric roles open that I can't list because this ad is too short lol. Regardless, We hope to be writing with you soon!

Our actual Discord server is meant for the community to come around, talk, chat, enjoy hanging out, and to plan the forum RP aspect. Some character chats can and do happen in Discord, however!
