Tail Raisers

Three streaking objects broke the Earths atmosphere letting off a jet-stream of greenish smoke and friction fire. Each where clearly aimed to land hundreds of miles away from one another with no discrimination to their LZ. The three impacts caused minor tremors in the areas they landed in and created deep blast pits that brimmed with a rim of ruined buildings and debris. Scientists and observers of space had noted three slight glints of light from the surface of Mars the day before and this information came far to late for Earthbound reaction, the triplets where definitely not meteorites. They traveled like bullets and held within their Trojan shells something far worse than space garbage. ( HG Wells. The War Of The Worlds event has started!
