Hey artists, we here at TLC understand that emotions can get a little high when it comes to making art. Putting the time and energy into something over and over again can be frustrating. However we collectively try our best to put those feelings aside and come together so that we can give and receive feedback. Here are some tips to stay calm after finishing some art progress.

    1. Close your eyes and count to 10 with deep breaths, try to see the problem you have with fresh eyes.
    1. Take a Walk, whether it be outside, to the bathroom, or to get a new drink. Some form of exercise can release those tense muscles to refocus.
    1. Try a 3-Minute Meditation. Talk out the problem in your head as if someone else was there and nobody is screaming.
    1. Practice gratitude. Look at all the steps you have already achieved to get to this point and break down the next step into small manageable tasks.
