To add a friend on Discord, you will need to know both their username and their unique 4-digit ID number. Then go to the Friends tab and select Add Friend. Type in your friend’s name in the following format: username#0000. If you share a server with a friend, or want to add someone who you’re in a server with, you can also just right-click on their name and select to add them as a friend.
