Eclipse Fusion & a new Wilderness frontier | BalenaScape

About Server

BalenaScape is a free old-school-style MMO that you play in a browser tab on PC: no download and nothing to buy. Make an account with just a username and a password and you are in.

Train 18 skills, take on 13 quests, 18 bosses and 9 minigames, and pick from 3 spellbooks, all in a world of our own: from the docks of Balenhaven to the deep sea and the Wilderness, where PvP is on.

New on 10 October 2026: Leyweaving, our 18th skill. Mine blankstones, carry them into one of three caverns and weave them into runes at a loom console. The deepest cavern, the Fractured Loom, sits in the PvP Wilderness. The same update added the Aegis Vault, a bank sanctuary in the Wilderness.

Made by a small team that ships updates often and listens to player feedback.

The Wilderness grows eastward, chests now follow your adventure, and your Collection log becomes the Curator's Atlas.

Three new Wilderness hunting grounds

• Ashen Strand & Ashen Catacombs: Ashbound knights, Crypt stalkers and The Bone Regent (220)

• Crimson March & Bloodstone Ravine: Bloodstone marauders, Oathbreakers and The Crimson Warlord (270)

• Rift Wastes & Rift Barrens: Rift hunters, Void hounds and Riftmaw (310)

Underground routes connect the three caves. This is dangerous Wilderness: PvP and item loss apply.

Activity chests

21 chest types from Slayer, monster and boss kills, Wilderness PvP and skilling. The rare Royal and Sovereign chests hold millions of coins plus an equipment or cosmetic reward, and you can trade them.

The Eclipse Fusion Chest

Find it in Balenhaven: 132 recipes for weapons, armour, capes, accessories and cosmetics. Check the ingredients, cost and success chance before you fuse, because a failed attempt still uses everything.

The Curator's Atlas

Every Collection log page now has a one-time completion gift, from Bronze to Mythic, plus milestone rewards and a collector's rank.
