There are patterns in the stock market, but their path varies off of what people think. Don't think that you need to understand how to read stock charts to get into the stock market. Nobody knows where a stock is going to go. You can know however what real people think about a stock. If everyone is wanting to buy the dip it'll probably go up. If people think it's over valued. Then the contracts will probably go down. Tons of things to learn. The stock market is people more than buisiness.
