Official server of the Purple Order. Purple Order is a community that teaches people about Satanism, having fun by attending events or just simply chilling.
This server is for people interested in philosophy and debate. If you want to share your opinions and defend them in debate this is a great place to do it!
Are you interested in forming beliefs that align with reality, even if these beliefs conflict with conventional wisdom?
Are you frustrated with truth-seeking communities that reward confidence over competence?
Are you tired of dealing with people who hold some beliefs sacred and refuse to re-examine those beliefs?
Are you bored of 'thought leaders' who are chosen for charisma and conformity, rather than accuracy and clarity?
The Second Order is a brand-new truth-seeking community built on the ideas of first-principles reasoning (working up from the basics, rather than relying on assumptions) and second-order knowledge (knowing what you know and what you don't know). If you're serious about forming logical beliefs and any of the above questions resonate with you, then The Second Order is a place for you.
In addition to text discussions, we will host voice/video discussions to dive deeply into interesting topics and forecasting competitions to calibrate our confidence levels.
