𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙚:
On a quiet night, in the winter of the year 2013, a great spiritual upheaval began in which the hero Doctor Fate and the demon Ixzt were locked in a brutal battle of wills that lasted for weeks on end. It shook the multiverse to its core, though most of its population would only remember the event in dreams later. Eventually, Doctor Fate won this battle and set the world to rights once more — but not without dire consequences. The victory shattered the Amulet of Anubis and cost the current Doctor his life. The events of this battle left a large area inside central park a smoking crater and, within it, a wound in time and space. Over a period of several months, the wound grew into a tear that touched all of the multiverse and beyond. Attempting to put order to the chaos, the many universes remade themselves into one universe — and the Broken New World was created...
