Since the dawn of society, people have evolved, not just in technology but also in a rare genetic mutation granting abnormal powers. This phenomenon began in the early 1900, when some individuals began to gain these traits. Society had mixed ideas of these mutants some saw them as gifts, while others saw them as danger. One such mutant was Cassidy, whose powers set him apart. Instead of embracing him, villagers viewed him as a threat. Tensions escalated, leading to the villagers harming Cassidy. Their fear turned to rage, and when pushed too far, Cassidy fought back, resulting in tragic losses. This changed society’s perception of mutants as unsafe, instilling widespread fear. However a man named John held a different belief that mutants deserved a place to learn and thrive. Inspired by Cassidy's suffering, he founded Misfit Academy in 1999 to protect and educate mutants, offering acceptance and exploration of their powers.
