In the beginning, there was Midgard.
The land was covered with all sorts of beasts, but with the creation of man, the species conquered all of Midgard, sending each beast back to their respective realms. Soon though, the clans all began to fight one another, and the Hyperborean empire was then created. For thousands upon thousands of years, the Empire ruled with an iron fist. Creating legendary heroes, along with their respective legendary weapons which were made of mythical metals. It created philosophies and ideas that spread across the vast reaches of the Empire, and beyond.
But everything must come to an end, and as the empire slowly imploded on itself, the barbarian tribes began to fight each other once more, all battling for dominance over Hyperborea, and eventually, all of Midgard. This is where our Story begins.
