You can choose between 4 principal roles: The builders- allowed to build and to bring the city to life. The mappers-explore the frontiers of the galaxy and find new places to expand our nation. The commercials-the managers of trading and operations that include units, nanites, or real money (owners of shops and commercial sites). The visitors/habitants-You are only allowed to build one habitat (yours). You can enjoy the views and the buildings, and explore the planet. You can ask people for guided tours. (for those who aren't good at building but want to take part of the city and the comunity) You can also hire some sevices like hotels and bars, but can't build anything appart of your house.
