By 2052, humanity has lived above Venus’s clouds for five years. After an asteroid struck Earth in 2035, the planet became nearly uninhabitable. A million survivors clung to life underground, battling eruptions, starvation, and chaos. The elite fled to Mars but found it too hostile. In 2037, a mad architect, Jonathan, proposed an audacious idea: a floating city above Venus, where the atmosphere at the right altitude could sustain life. Though skeptical, the wealthy funded his vision, and by 2046, Vena was complete. The elite abandoned Mars for this paradise, leaving Earth’s poor to die. Yet, not all gave up. A group of survivors secretly built a shuttle and now approach Venus. Panic spreads through Vena’s government—outsiders threaten their utopia. As tensions rise, fear turns to conflict. Will the city collapse into chaos? A coup? A revolution? Or can humanity finally learn to survive—together?

Mankind has since shadowed its once starry skies with smog, polluted its waters until they ran black, and tore the land so all that remained were barren deserts. Humanity has failed its home world. In a last-ditch effort to escape from their tragically thrashed planet, it was decided that there was no way out but up. The current year is 3167, with the impending doom of extinction now long put to rest. However, the fact remains that there is still much to explore and develop amongst the wider worlds. All there was left to ask yourself was but one simple question. Were you willing to continue the voyage into the stellar absence?

Solar Systars is an open world Sci-Fi fusion RP with a touch of space faring, a dash of cyberspace hi-jinks, a spritz of post apocalypse, a pinch of cyberpunk capitalist hellscape, a sprinkle of ancient aliens, and a WHOLE lot of lasers! Aliens, robots, mutants, and mechs are all fair game, but god-like characters born with superpowers like Superman or Martian Manhunter are not. Story is priority, and we encourage a broad diversity of roleplay scenes from combat to comedy; from slice of life to ERP. The server is 18+ and open to all mature and competent adults to explore adult themes. While we do allow for ERP, this isn't an ERP server where you just meet up and then diddle people in your DMs. You must play in server and engage with the setting. Everything from small and personal 1x1 scenes to big epic space opera campaigns are welcomed.
