After the victory over Bill, the summer came to an end, and the twins were supposed to return to their own home and start a new school. After celebrating their 13th birthday at Uncle Stan's cabin, they packed up and were ready for the journey. They boarded the bus, which was driven by their friend Soos, but when they reached the town's border, something stopped them. A sphere, left as a result of Weirdmageddon, marked the area where Bill could extend his power. They got off the bus and tried to leave on their own, but their efforts were in vain. They were trapped in Gravity Falls. The town would no longer allow anyone to leave its borders, which meant that Bill was still alive. After a few days, they found his statue and investigated it. It turned out that when Stanford touched it, Bill returned to his original form. Welcome to Gravity Falls, where summer lasts forever, and time does not exist.
