New Mexico State Roleplay was a community built in June 2020 for gamers looking to enhance their roleplaying experience within fiveM (a GTA based application). At the onset of this endeavor, our executive team made it our goal and mission to create a community that not only welcomed all types of gamers, but one that touts diversity, respect, and above all else the creation of a gaming family. In our short time of existence, our server has experienced exponential growth. Beginning with only 10 individuals, our server now exceeds 2,200 members! 2020 has given our server great success; however, with that success our server has seen its fair share of heartbreak. The COVID-19 pandemic really united our server and showed that a community built for all players works. Our success should not pinned on our staff team or executives, but rather, should be attributed to the thousands of members we have welcomed into our family. They brought us success.
