After a century of peace between the two clans, a new, young leader by the name of Mourningstar has stepped up to bat in Ridgeclan. She is loud, aggravating, and boastful. Ridgeclan is nervous, as the leader begins to set a new boundary with Mazeclan that could easily cause a fight between the once allied clans. Some cats, however, believe that Mourningstar is just what they need for a good, safe clan. Others think that she will end up tearing the clans apart and killing them all. No matter how you believe, its clear that the once joyous community of cats living on the islands is faltering, and maybe even a war will wage. ~What side are you on as this new century begins?~

Desperation and discouragement flourished as the generations passed and soon, most of the Warrior Code has been lost, and StarClan ceased to exist to all except the Herbalists. With leaders gaining their lives from questionable sources, Herbalists being ridiculed by those whom don’t want a Code, and peacekeepers doomed to hostility, the Clans know they must reforge their code— before it is too late, and StarClan is lost to them forever. It has been many years since the cats chosen by StarClan led their Clans to the lake, saving them from starvation and a cruel death by the hands of the Twolegs. That had been their start, and now, this is their future. This roleplay takes place 50+ years after the Clans reached the lake, and deviates from canon after the events of "The New Prophecy: Dawn." From here, you are left to make your own choices, building relationships with others while fighting for your life, against both other Clans as well as your own morals.
