Long ago, before the kingdoms of Eryndor were drawn on any map, the land was wild and untamed. The sky shimmered with two suns, and the forests whispered secrets older than time. In those days, the Goddess Liora, keeper of life, walked among mortals, planting rivers, shaping mountains, and teaching the first creatures to speak.
But balance was fragile. From the shadows of the Umbral Marshes, a dark sorcerer named Kaelith sought to twist Eryndor to his will. He summoned creatures of nightmare and cursed the land, turning peaceful glades into haunted woods and sparkling lakes into poisoned swamps.
The kingdoms rose in response: the Sylvan Court of the elves, the Ironhold Clans of dwarves, the Sunspire Alliance of humans, and the Skyborn who rode the winds on dragons. For decades, they battled Kaelith’s armies, but the sorcerer was clever; he vanished each time they drew near.
