Night City Chronicles is set several months after the ending of Cyberpunk 2077. Adam Smasher and Rogue are both dead, felled in a mysterious attack on Arasaka tower - While the infamous mercenary known simply as *V* has disappeared from the faces of the Earth. In their wake, the world is churning. Plummeting stock prices and rising hostilities between corporations promise the possibility of yet another Corpo-War, lingering over the horizon. Maybe what the corporation do matter to you, maybe they don't. Whatever your opinion of them is, the news isn't good. Night City is a lens for the world, and the world is uncertain. A new mayor promises change, change sorely needed as the criminal underworld of Night City has been shaken by the death of Rogue- rocking the very foundation the criminal underworld rests upon. The only thing to be certain in is yourself, and your capabilities; within Night City, they're about all you can trust.
