Born in Pocheon City in 1991, he debuted in 2016 with the single “Hate you” (미워요) but became popular after winning in Season 1 of the TV show “Mr. Trot” in 2020. He is one of the most popular singers in Korea, mainly among older women, but he is also popular among younger Koreans and has a growing international fandom.
