The wind whistles through the wilderness surrounding the Sandy Bay mountains, a place where the forest dotting its landscape hides more than just the deer that dart through its trees. Concealed from the world, a town whose groundwork is molded and blessed by the divine hands of gods thought long gone lay. It appeared to be a place of solace, a place where one would find themselves so removed from everything that they had no choice but to experience euphoric enlightenment.
However, nothing is ever exactly as it seems. Beyond the borders of that isolated town, monsters rise from every corner to tear at those held within. Yet, those within force themselves into blissful ignorance, believing that nothing could disturb the peace that had already been broken long ago. The mayor says everything is fine and so they believe her. More and more new arrivals come to the town and these new arrivals whisper one thing amongst each other: something is not right in Elk Grove.
