After kicking around looking for a Magic the Gathering roleplay, I've found most of the communities to be either too toxic (give a small man the slightest bit of power and all that), inactive, or their stories are simply dominated by two or three GMPCs. It's a genuine shame, because it is a fascinating setting with years of history, and plenty of opportunities for collaborative storytelling. That's why I've decided to throw my hat into the ring.
We:
-Emphasize collaborative storytelling! Story mods will help ensure you can tell the tale YOU want!
-Can deviate from canon! Alternate universes are long-established parts of Magic history!
-Have Custom Planes! Venture into the endless western frontier of Morricona, board a spaceship and fight the Golem-lords of Evren across the stars, explore the bizarre landscape of Angharrad, or earn a mystical Art Name from the lords of Pili! Or submit your own!
-An LGBT-friendly environment! No targeting others because of their sexuality or identity!
In the wake of the War of the Spark, the Multiverse is at a crossroads. Our intrepid heroes, be they Planeswalkers or Legends of their plane, will be the ones to shape the destiny of all. Of course, not all use their gifts for such lofty goals, and disturbances throughout the planes are ever-mounting. While the Gatewatch has their own problems, other groups form to stand against other threats.
