Our world has been steeped in magic since time immemorial; and since time immemorial it has been split. The human realm began as a simple material plane with apes crawling across the surface- but swiftly grew into countless nations with names long forgot that crashed against one another in endless wars. Cannibalizing each other until only two were left: Valoria, what was once known as North and South America, and Falhaven, sprawled across Europe, Asia, and Africa. Names that have become foreign gibberish to mankind.
The humans warred because the very last of something much older than man pulled the strings. A Faerie, a King of nothing anymore but ash and bone with a twisted directive- he sought to conquer the mortal lands, so he could take magic back from mankind. A force he believed to have been stolen from him and his people.
