On an island just off the coast of the big city, the past of the five clans remains buried in the sand.
Just over 20 moons ago, dozens of pirate-cats were abandoned on the coast of the island and formed a fifth clan to join the four that were already established, with the help of three of the four clans.
For over 80 moons, an accusation of the murder of a former leader haunts two of the five... and the truth is still unknown. Every new generation born into these two clans inherits hatred for the other.
