More bang for your buck, pilots!

We're upping the rewards for participating in battles — win or lose!

Effective immediately, for all current and future battles listed in the Battle Commission or already underway:

Victory by default now earns 7,000 Credits, as opposed to 5,000 Credits.

Defeat by default now earns 3,000 Credits, as opposed to 1,000 Credits.

That’s a +2,000 Credit increase across the board for both outcomes!

This bonus will also affect team battles and multiple pilot battles going forward, such as Free-For-Alls, 2v2, 3v3, etc. Expect some revised numbers in the battle system document to reflect these new figures!

Note: In Regard To The Saturday Battle Bonus One slight downside with this update is, with these changes, Saturday battles will no longer award bonus payouts.

The Saturday Battle Bonus was a holdover from when the Server first opened up a few years ago, and during that time period, Standard battles were the norm (10 Minute Posting Time Limit), and Arena battles were the exception (2 Day Posting Time Limit). However, as our lives have gotten busier, and more and more folks are operating under different timezones, these figures have flipped. I hate to see it go. But we may try to bring it back down the road for Standard Battles only, or something like that - we'll see.

However, if your battle started on a Saturday and is currently in progress or is currently listed in the Commission and is going to start on a Saturday, you’ll be getting the best of both systems:

Winners will receive 10,000 Credits, Losers will still earn 3,000 Credits,

In preparation for more teams forming on the server, we’ve been looking to revise our team-related rules to ensure fairness and fun.

To that end, we have included a new section to the team rules in regards to battles.

Battling Fellow Team Members Pilots are free to challenge members of their own team; however, any such battles will yield only half the usual battle rewards. This is to prevent any sort of exploitation for team members to only battle themselves to hoard the Credits, since the Credits could be all donated to the team funds.

In addition, all battles which only feature fellow teammates do not grant any gains or losses to Battle Points for the Battle Record.

This is designed to discourage farming Credits through internal matches only, while still allowing for friendly practice or rivalry within the teams proper.

Greetings, pilots and aerial enthusiasts!

A small but meaningful tweak has been made to the Air-to-Air and Air-to-Surface Missile Packs.

Previously, purchasing one of these Modifications granted you a single missile pod that could mount on your Zoid’s belly, and you had to buy a second one to equip both pods on the wings.

Not anymore.

Going forward, these Mods now grant both missile pods of the chosen type with a single purchase—mounted on the wings by default. To balance this, the price has been doubled, but no extra purchase is needed to get the full set.

Talk about efficiency!

If you previously bought two of either missile pack, simply treat them as one complete purchase/Modification now. And if you only bought one? Congrats—you just scored a free pod of the chosen type.
