Zoids: Next Century RPG

With the first round completed, we are happy to announce the return to hosting requested battles, along with declaring the next battles set for the Rookie Cup!

Here are the matchups for the second round:

• Battlefield-01: Cy vs Lev.
• Battlefield-02: Rika vs Steel.

Tournament Proceedings:

1. When the Judge is ready, they will post in the appropriate channel and request the pilots to post their openers. They will ping you. You have 2 Days to post your opener once this is done.

2. When writing your opener, please note that the battles take place in the TerraForge Coliseum, where the floors and walls shift and change to suit the battlefield features that the Judge has pre-selected for that battle. Before the battle starts, the walls and floor are largely unassuming.

3. If you have ANY Modifications listed in your entry, you will get a DM from the Judge, asking what Modifications you will be using for the upcoming battle. This is private, and you may not want your opponent to know beforehand what you will be using. You must tell your Judge what you are using before you send your opener for the battle. You may NOT swap out your Modifications during battle. Your opener must include what Zoid and Modifications you are using, as per normal battle etiquette.

4. Once the battle begins, it is treated like an Arena Battle, with a 2 Day Posting Time Limit. If you need an extension, please contact the Judge.

With this update, we open up the floor for some Zoids to make use of current Modifications, present a new Modification, and release two new Zoids!

Modification Expansion:

• The Aro Saurer can now use the [CP-24] Flexible Booster Unit.
• The Shadow Fox can now use the [CP-22] Dual Sniper Rifle.
• The Konig Wolf can now use the [CP-12] Attack Booster Unit.
• The Redler can now use the [CP-23] AZ5 Missile Pods.
• The Cannon Tortoise can now (laugh) use the [CP-24] Flexible Booster Unit.

New Modification:

• [AP-26] Assault Armor for the Red Horn.

New Zoids:

• Banned Zoid - the Death Saurer.
• Upgrade Zoid - the Thunder Horn. An Upgrade to the Red Horn!

Bonus: All the Modifications mentioned above have been given a rewrite. May they prove easier to read!

*Please Note: Dearth is used as a clever part of the title to include the Death Saurer in this update, not to be confused as an indicator that this update is lacking. I get to this stuff as quickly as I can, honest!
