We’ve got an exciting update for all pilots and teams: the rules for Zoid Slots have officially expanded.

What’s New? The previous limit of 8 Zoid Slots has been replaced with a soft cap at 10—meaning that once a pilot or team reaches 10 Slots, they can now go beyond that number with a few additional requirements.

Slots 1–10: Standard purchase rules apply.,

Slots 11–20: Require ownership of a Transport and comes at a higher cost.,

Slot 21 and beyond: The cost increases again, but there’s no upper limit as long as the Transport requirement is met.,

This change gives collectors and competitive pilots more flexibility to grow their rosters.

Updates to Rule Documents To reflect this change, both the Purchases & Exchanges Document and the Team Creation & Rules Document have been revised. The updates include:

Full integration of the Zoid Slot Expansion rules,

Streamlined wording and formatting,

Improved clarity overall,

We’ve also added tabs in those documents for easier navigation to find what you are looking for.

Teams & ZX-Class Zoids This update also impacts how teams manage ZX-Class Zoids:

Every team may house 1 ZX Zoid by default,

For every 5 Team Zoid Slots, they gain +1 additional ZX capacity,

Select Transports offer even more ZX capacity on top of that (see the Transport chart in the Team Rules for full details),

This creates new strategic opportunities for teams looking to expand both their size and power level.

As always, feel free to check out the revised documents and let us know if you have any questions or feedback.
