Reporter: Good evening, Zoid fans. This is Eliza Sinclair of the Daily Zi, reporting live from the heart of the Guylos Empire. Today, we bring you an extraordinary piece of news straight from the battlefield. In cooperation with the Guylos Empire, the Helic Republic has successfully recovered a legendary Zoid, thought to have been lost to the depths of time.

[Cut to footage of the recovered Mad Thunder being lifted out of the marsh]

Reporter: That's right, ladies and gentlemen. The Mad Thunder, a super-heavy combat Zoid, has been pulled from the treacherous Maze Marsh, formerly known as the Devil’s Maze. Believed to have been wiped out during the Meteor Disaster of ZAC 2056, this marks the first time in nearly 150 years that a Mad Thunder has been seen in its entirety.

[Cut to interviews with Zoid engineers and military officials]

Engineer: It's truly a remarkable discovery. The Mad Thunder was a symbol of power and resilience during its time, and to see it restored to its former glory is a testament to the perseverance of the Helic Republic.

Military Official: The recovery of the Mad Thunder signifies a new era of cooperation between the Helic Republic and the Guylos Empire. Together, we have been able to achieve what was once thought impossible.

Reporter: However, the road to restoration will not be an easy one. The Mad Thunder suffered extensive damage during its time in the Maze Marsh, and it will take much time and effort to fully restore the fallen Zoid. But rest assured, the Helic Republic is committed to bringing this legendary Triceratop back to life.

Tournament Proceedings:

1. When the Judge is ready, they will post in the appropriate channel and request the pilots to post their openers. They will ping you. You have 2 Days to post your opener once this is done.

2. When writing your opener, please note that the battles take place in the TerraForge Coliseum, where the floors and walls shift and change to suit the battlefield features that the Judge has pre-selected for that battle. Before the battle starts, the walls and floor are largely unassuming.

3. If you have ANY Modifications listed in your entry, you will get a DM from the Judge, asking what Modifications you will be using for the upcoming battle. This is private, and you may not want your opponent to know beforehand what you will be using. You must tell your Judge what you are using before you send your opener for the battle. You may NOT swap out your Modifications during battle. Your opener must include what Zoid and Modifications you are using, as per normal battle etiquette.

4. Once the battle begins, it is treated like an Arena Battle, with a 2 Day Posting Time Limit. If you need an extension, please contact the Judge.
