Vampires and Lycans, born from an ancient, cursed tree, navigate the modern world while keeping their true nature concealed. Humans remain oblivious—except for those who disappear, those who hunt, and those who become something more. 🦇 Vampires – Originating from the first who drank the cursed tree's sap, vampires rule the night, hiding in the shadows of Manhattan. They are immortal, gifted with supernatural abilities but cursed with an insatiable bloodlust. They turn only those they deem worthy, and their Beloveds—humans fated to them—often vanish from mortal society, forever bound to their vampire lords. 🐺 Lycans – Created from the one who bit into the tree’s bark, Lycans are bound by instinct, strength, and an unbreakable connection to their fated mates. Long ago, an island was pulled from the sea. It called to the wayward and the lost to come settle its lands, and so they did. For a time, all the peoples lived in peace, with no wars between them. They named this place the "Island of the Dawn". Forty years ago, however, this balance was broken. The first human king rose up and began to expand his lands--the first war had come to the Island of the Dawn. Unable to fight back, thousands of non-humans were forced to flee further and further, until they reached the final holdout: Sylph Haven. The Lords of Sylph Haven welcomed those in need, rebuffing all attacks by the First King. Base System: Mainly V20 with some minor additions from DAV20 Style: Play-by-Post Language: English, both out-of-character and in-character. Short Description: Based in the city of Belgrade, with a completely custom lore. The players may choose to play one of the 13 Major Clans, their variations, rare Bloodlines, Caitiff, Ghouls and Mortals. This is primarily a Neonite/Ancillae game. The year is 2004. The Camarilla has had a recent change in leadership and is in the process of rebuilding. There is a growing community of the Anarch Movement with the ambition to create a Free State. There is an armistice signed between the two Sects, who are currently trying to coexist. The Sabbat is threatening the borders of the city. Independents and Autarkis are tolerated in the city. The XP is rewarded weekly with a potential to gain more through plotlines. We are a brand new server looking to grow the community.
