The Swatantra Party was an Indian classical liberal political party, that existed from 1959 to 1974. It was founded by C. Rajagopalachari in reaction to what he felt was the Nehru-dominated INC's socialist and statist outlook. Swatantra stood for a market-based economy with the "Licence Raj" dismantled. Swatantra was not a religion-based party but was on the economic right and held pragmatism, cultural values and social justice as important to create India into a strong and modern state.
We want to create a community of Indian liberals who believe in individual liberty and economic freedom as sacrosanct and are against heavy government enroachment on our freedoms. The server seeks to be a safe place for discussion for pragmatists in the current polarized political climate between the left and the right.
Our server is a friendly server. Its an Indian server but everyone is warmly welcomed here. There is an equal propotion of males and females in our server. We do several activities here like gaming, movies, songs, vc etc. We have members of all age groups here. There are no rules and regulations just don't hurt anyone and stay loyal.
