There are no teachers that have any rank above anyone else, and there is no mod, teacher, or adult that will cater to your preferences. You must attend to your own likes and dislikes.
In a way Zen is contentious at its very root. It is a sword that kills and gives life, it does not shy from demonstrations of violence and anger nor of peace and kindness. You may feel someone should be acting a different way, it is your right to demand integrity from them or back away in peace.
Zen is also about questions! If you see something that seems off, or not Zen, ask questions, get involved, or make a bold contrary claim! Don't be scared to question something to death - Dongshan, a Chinese Zen Master, was known for questioning someone to death!
