Many heroes in the new age have to team-up in order to defeat many of the villains who would've been singlehandedly defeated by heroes from the 1960s! Many heroes were placed into a much more futuristic world where an evil corporation Alchemax has started taking over the east coast of the U.S and continues to move west. The current year is 2099 and Alchemex has outlawed any heroism that is unsanctioned by them. Many of our heroes are past their prime and the next generation are the heroes of this age.
