In 2025, a violent and unknown outbreak of almost invisible origin popped out of nowhere. The first signs of the virus showed around the Northern East US. The outbreak seemed quiet at first but as days went on it spread quickly down south. In about 3 weeks the entirety of the US was overtaken with the plague. The government and other agencies such as the CDC were overwhelmed, leading to society collapsing and the hope for a cure fading into almost nothing.
