Partnering with Iron Man, Ultron gains access to the Nano-Ray ability, while Iron Man receives a 5% damage boost as the anchor. This synergy represents the complex relationship between creator and creation, offering both offensive and defensive advantages

Major Hero Balance Changes Vanguard Updates

Captain America receives significant survivability nerfs:

Health reduced from 600 to 575

Shield recovery delay increased from 2s to 4s after Living Legend

Freedom Charge ultimate cost increased from 2800 to 3100 energy

Doctor Strange gets damage buffs:

Daggers of Denak falloff improved from 62.5% to 80% at 20m

Maelstrom of Madness range damage falloff completely removed

Emma Frost sees mixed changes:

Telepathic Pulse range extended from 15.5m to 18m

Mind's Aegis shield reduced from 500 to 400

Carbon Crush cooldown increased from 5s to 6s

Crystal Kick damage decreased (50→40 hit, 100→90 wall impact)

Groot receives damage nerfs:

Vine Strike damage per hit reduced from 70 to 65

Ironwood Wall cooldown increased from 8s to 12s

Magneto gets a quality-of-life improvement:

Ring charging speed increased from 4s to 3s per stack

Thor undergoes major ability reworks:

Hammer Throw becomes a standard ability (6s cooldown, no Thorforce cost)

Hammer damage reduced (70→45 throw, 30→20 return)

Thorforce shield value decreased (100→75 per stack, 200→150 maximum)

Base arrow damage increased from 32 to 34

Blast Arrow improvements across projectile and spell field damage

Nightsword Thorn charge capacity increased from 8 to 10
