Individuals found themselves with a curse, able to see dark and twisted creatures known as Wrethers, twisted and disfigured versions of the Earths everyday animals, an air of chaos and utter depression wherever they ventured. Ordinary humans were unable to see these beasts, unaware of the true cause to their many issues going on in daily life, from stolen items to mass catastrophic events. Those with The Sight turned to insanity. Now, however, this curse of The Sight is sought as a blessing. A select few with this gift, skills, and harnessing exceptional knowledge may find themselves at our prestigious academy. We train hunters of the dark.

The year is 2019. Westside Academy is a high-quality school in LA, with strong academical, and athletic students. At school students can train with their teammates in multiple sports, or go to classes. Outside of school, there is an amazing town to cruise around with their friends. - = - = Westside is looking for some amazing students! You may create your own character! The best way to describe Hide And Seek is by mixing Dead by Daylight in terms of Killer and Survivor structure, Identity V in terms of fun being the focus of our game (even if the balance may be a little flawed), and Dungeons And Dragons in terms of kind of playing with your imagination. Much like D&D, The Catalyst will be your guide during games. They will be the one who describes your actions after you tell them what your character does, and then they prompt you for your next action. You don't really need to follow those prompts, but you might want to if The Catalyst tells you something like: "Suddenly, you hear a horrifying laugh, echoing from the distance. Your Fear Meter reaches 45%!"
