Community | Just Chatting
A place for everyone who remembers when IRC was the internet.
Talk about the networks, channels, ops, servers, and random late-night conversations that defined the late 90s and early 2000s. Share your favorite moments, the channels that felt like home, the users you never forgot, and the ridiculous stories that only happened on IRC. Whether you were on EFnet, Undernet, DALnet, IRCNet, or somewhere else, you’re welcome here.
We also talk about IRC today — what’s still around, what’s changed, and why some of us never left.
This server is tied to The StormNet IRC network. If you want to jump back into a real IRC network with that classic feel, point your browser to connect.thestormnet.com, point your favorite IRC client to irc.thestormnet.com or visit https://thestormnet.com. Come hang out, tell your stories, and keep the old spirit alive.
Whether you’re here for pure nostalgia, to reconnect with the past, or just to see if anyone else remembers those days — pull up a chair.
