It’s been 40 years since anyone has seen or heard from the Cylons that humanity fought tooth and nail just for the continuation of the human race.
In the time since, the Twelve Colonies have advanced their technology significantly. The mainstay of this new Colonial Fleet was the Mercury-Class Battlestar. The most advanced Battlestar of its time, with others to come later.
Almost one year ago, the keel was laid for the Battlestar Acheron, one of the new Mercury-Class Block IIs. And now that it has ended its process of construction, its crew takes the vessel out for its initial shakedown run on Colonial Day.
