After the event that came to be known as The Battle of Hogwarts, the Ministry of Magic decided that, despite the vast protections that had always been given to the school, it was no longer safe to house underage students so far away from any potential help. Because of this decision, once it was rebuilt, Hogwarts became the first Wizarding University, a place where students could choose to continue their education after the first seven years of magical learning. The Hogwarts University for the Continued Studies of Magical Learning opened in 2010. This RP is based after the events of Harry Potter book series in the year 2021, an alternate universe revolving around Hogwarts becoming a University for adult Witches and Wizards who wish to further their education.
