But eventually many of these people died out, their children slowly becoming disconnected from their ancestors powers and those who did end up with them would rarely find out, their powers lying dormant. Having magical powers is now considered something of fiction, and if anybody were to find out about the people who still exist who have magical ability, it wouldn't turn out well. The founder and principal of the school realized this when she was only a teenager, about a year and a half after discovering her magic. Her life goal became making a school that would be safe for children with powers where they could learn how to better use them, hoping to one day normalize having magical ability once more.
