Cursed World | A JJK RP

Over 1,000 years ago, Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses, was sealed in the prison realm by sorcerers from Japan's strongest clans. As they confronted Sukuna, he nearly annihilated them with his Malevolent Shrine domain. Close to victory, Sukuna was momentarily distracted, allowing a sorcerer to activate the realm. The realm reacted unexpectedly, slowly stripping Sukuna of his immunity within his own domain. Desperate, Sukuna used his body as a shield against the onslaught of his domain's slashes while the realm sealed him. In the process, his fingers were severed and cast out, scattered across the world, each retaining fragments of his power. Centuries later, a rogue sorcerer released Sukuna. Although weakened, he regenerated his fingers, but his full power remains within the lost ones. Now free, Sukuna seeks to reclaim his scattered fingers, threatening to plunge the jujutsu world into chaos once more. Welcome to Cursed Resurgence! A RP AU of Jujutsu Kaisen, with a new storyline.

Jujutsu Kaisen is popular, so I wanted to try my hand at making a half decent RP server revolving around it, as I found myself unsatisfied with the state of others. (Grades being blatant power levels, needing to GRIND to have fun, etc.) This server is purely narrative driven, meaning there's no "powerscaling," just purely what the people inside it think would be fun. Anyone's allowed to join, good at CRP or not, anime only or caught up with the Manga. The server isn't made to discriminate, it's made for people to create their own story based on the general premise, and to let their creativity run wild. As long as you're not ruining the fun for others, we'll allow you and whatever idea you have in with open arms. The server relies on a "What If?" Premise anyhow, so what's the point in not having a bit of fun with it?

A server to create and play original characters set in the Jujutsu Kaisen universe outside of the main story. Based in Los Angeles USA, the American branch of jujutsu sorcerers has been revived by an influx of new students after operating for years on a short staffed roster of sorcerers as the frequency in curses has risen dramatically across the world in the last decade. With the Japan branch of jujutsu sorcerers all but having their hands full with their own issues due to the recent rise in special grade curse activity surrounding the consumption of Sukuna's fingers 5 years ago. The states have been mostly relying on the inexperienced or over confident help of newbie American sorcerers to deal with the up tick in cursed spirits while they scramble to train and teach them jujutsu to lessen the constantly growing work load.
